Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make the Crust
Combine flour, powdered sugar, melted butter, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until a dough forms. Press evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Step 3: Bake the Crust
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove and let cool slightly.
Step 4: Make the Topping
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, butter, honey, vanilla, and salt. Stir until smooth and melted. Bring to a simmer, add pecans, and stir to coat.
Step 5: Assemble & Bake
Pour the toffee pecan mixture over the crust, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Step 6: Cool & Cut
Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Cook’s Notes
- Pecans: Use halves or roughly chopped – your choice!
- Toffee Bits: Heath toffee bits are great, or chop your own toffee bars.
- Cooling: Essential for the toffee to set properly.

Chocolate Drizzle Dream Bars
Drizzle melted semisweet chocolate chips over cooled bars.
Coconut Toffee Pecan Bars
Add 1/2 cup shredded coconut to the toffee mixture.
Sea Salt Toffee Bars
Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the hot bars.
