Instructions:

Prepare the Sausage:

Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked and browned. Drain off any excess grease.

Assemble the Rolls:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet.
  3. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the dough, leaving a small border.
  4. Tightly roll the dough up from the long side into a log.
  5. Cut the log into 8 equal pieces.
  6. Place the rolls onto the baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
  7. Whisk together the beaten egg and milk; brush this mixture over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
