French Onion Meatloaf with Melted Swiss Cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Fold in half of the caramelized onions and ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese.
  4. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish or loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked through (internal temp of 160°F).
  6. Top with remaining caramelized onions and Swiss cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Note 📝: For extra flavor, try using a mix of ground beef and ground pork. You can also add a splash of beef broth to keep the meatloaf extra juicy. Want a crispy topping? Broil for 2-3 minutes after adding the cheese! 🔥🧀😋
